CUSTOM COMMISSION & USER AGREEMENT

Last Updated: July 2026

Welcome to Free Radical 666. By using our online design tool, uploading reference imagery, and submitting payment for a custom 3D-printed sculpture (the "Custom Statue" or "Product"), you ("Client" or "User") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting your order.

1. THE CUSTOM DESIGN & COMMISSION PROCESS

To ensure your custom sculpture meets your exact specifications, we utilize a structured, step-by-step collaborative process:

  • Step 1: Initiation: The Client utilizes our online design tool to select a desired size (ranging from 10" to 80" life-size), material finish, and submits reference imagery.

  • Step 2: Preliminary Design & Payment: The Client must submit an initial payment and upload all required reference photos to officially initiate the modeling phase.

  • Step 3: 3D Preview & Collaboration: Our team will draft a 3D digital model based on your defined options and send digital previews directly to your email. We will work with you step-by-step to refine and finalize this design.

  • Step 4: Final Approval & Manufacturing: Once you are fully satisfied, you must provide explicit written (email) approval of the final 3D preview and complete any remaining balance (the full payment). Upon receipt of final approval and full payment, we will commence the 3D printing process.

2. CLIENT CONTENT & COPYRIGHTS

By uploading photographs, drawings, character designs, or other reference materials ("Client Content"), you warrant and represent that:

  • 2.1 Ownership: You own the copyright to the uploaded imagery, or you have obtained explicit written permission/licensing from the copyright owner to use and reproduce the image for a custom physical sculpture.

  • 2.2 Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Free Radical 666 and its artists from any claims, liabilities, losses, or legal costs arising from allegations of copyright or trademark infringement relating to the Client Content you provide.

  • 2.3 Restrictions: Free Radical 666 reserves the right to refuse any custom project that contains explicitly illegal, hate-based, or non-consensual imagery.

3. PAYMENT, CHANGES, AND CANCELLATION

  • 3.1 Pricing: Custom statue prices are calculated based on your selected scale, material finish, and design complexity.

  • 3.2 Lock-in and Finality: Once you have provided final approval of the 3D digital preview and we begin the 3D printing phase, no further design or structural changes can be made.

  • 3.3 Cancellations:

    • If you cancel your commission before digital modeling has begun, you may be eligible for a full refund of your initial deposit.

    • If you cancel your commission during the active digital design/3D preview phase, Free Radical 666 reserves the right to retain a non-refundable design deposit to cover the cost of the digital artist's hours spent.

    • Once you provide final design approval and full payment is completed, the order is locked for manufacturing and is 100% non-refundable.

4. MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS & 3D PRINTING CHARACTERISTICS

  • 4.1 Manufacturing Method: Our statues are fabricated using advanced additive manufacturing (3D printing) technologies (primarily utilizing durable, outdoor-resilient ASA filament and specialty artistic coatings).

  • 4.2 Inherent Variations: By purchasing a 3D-printed piece, you acknowledge that 3D printing can result in micro-textures, fine layer lines, or subtle surface variations. These are not defects, but rather natural characteristics of the additive manufacturing process.

  • 4.3 Finish Representation: While our finishes (such as Antique Bronze, Patina, Gold, Silver, or Plaster) are designed to beautifully mimic the aesthetic of heavy traditional cast metals or stone, the base structure of the sculpture is a high-performance polymer. This allows us to offer majestic, lightweight, and weather-resistant art at an accessible price point compared to traditional cast foundry metals.

5. SHIPPING, ARRIVAL, AND DAMAGE

  • 5.1 Delivery Times: Estimated production and shipping timelines are provided as guidelines and are not legally binding guarantees, as custom artwork timelines vary based on design complexity and queue volumes.

  • 5.2 Shipping Damage: In the rare event that your sculpture is damaged during transit, you must contact us within 48 hours of package delivery with detailed photos of the damaged shipping box and the damaged product. Free Radical 666 will work with you to repair or replace a transit-damaged sculpture, provided timely evidence is submitted.

6. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By ticking the "I agree to the Terms of Service" box at checkout, or by submitting your initial payment and uploading reference images, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Commission & User Agreement.
